The channels aren’t disabled. - Checked
Clock is set to MIDI? - Midi
Midi MODE is set to poly or omni? Poly (tried Omni as well, both w no luck)
Midi START/STOP is set to on (since it’s a rack, you want the external device able to start / stop Emax via midi, right?) Not using the internal sequencer , but set to Midi ON (just in case)
Super Mode is on or off? Off (cant switch this to On)
Also- you can’t have SERIAL and MIDI hooked at the same time as they use the same USART IC. Only Midi connected
That’s just a couple of things to check (although obviously there could be more…)
If you haven’t read the owners manual, would highly recommend it… if you don’t have it, I believe it’s in the files section. Downloaded before i approached the forum , may have missed some info.

I think the Unit also starts up with some programs loaded internally since its an HD version and tried loading a few different floppies that came with the purchase. All seem to have the same uneventful result - no audio. : (Jon
