Hello!
First and foremost, I'm really happy I've stumbeled upon this group. I also want to thank E-Synthesist for making EMXP and the EmuSer. This contributed greatly to why I decided to purchase an E-max. I think that stuff seems fantastic!
I bought an Emax 1 with a broken Data-slider a couple of days ago in Sweden for 350 EUR. Certainly not a bargain, however a fully functioning one went for 550 the day before, and the previous sold unit was sold one year before that (in Sweden).
I'm hoping to be able to control the Data slider via Midi (for filter automation), if this won't work I'll probably bring it to a technician for service.
Have any of you been through this before (broken DATA-slider)?
Also, I would be very greatful to get in touch with Freddy to buy an EmuSer. Can anyone help me?
I've tried registering on the emulator forums but I never get a verification email. Afther some googling I realized I'm not the first person having issues with this...
All the best
Waldemar

Hi
The data slider is a 10k slider (http://www.eprelectronics.com/store/E-mu-Keyboards-PARTS/Emax-I-amp-II-keyboard/Slider-10KB-for-Emax-EIII-rack-p86.html) and I found one on Ebay and changed it myself 4 small soldering points.
So keep a look out at Ebay or if anyone know more about where to get a replacement.
Niklas
