Hi all,
Sorry for the slightly off-topic question, but I cant really find a mailing-list focused on later E-MU's.
I just bought an E4XT Ultra, with an internal IDE-disk. The OS is 4.10, and hence not a FAT32-compatible filesystem, but instead the EOS file system.
I want to both upgrade the OS and the IDE-disk on my new mashine - but I first want to back-up the data (about 2 Gb) that is on the internal IDE-disk. I realize that I have the option of either get an internal or external scsi-disk to back up to, but the prices for this one-time-use is a little harsh (I will also search my area for a disk to perhaps borrow a few hours for the job).
But - is there any windows (XP or 7) based solution for putting the IDE disk into a PC and access the EOS-files?
Any ideas is much appreciated. :)
Thanks
Niklas
