I haven't had any noticable noise on mine. However, I had mine
serviced not long after I got it and a "dirty" output was replaced. Do
you happen to have a fan in your model? (was implemented on most HD
models). That could be interfering, though I have one in mine and
haven't had the problem.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
