it works i have the first protocase here and its fitted to a asr10
i had to go back to the drawing board as the slim floppy adapters were to long so i have had to design a new pcb which provides power also to the scsi drive and because the casing is pc 3.5" size im still deciding if i want to go with the larger 3.5" case that the early ensoniqs and emax uses
also they have to have scsi custom cables made as the slim floppy are larger in length and because of the limited space the pcb for the slim floppy sits at the back of the drive and has a wired power lead that attaches to the scsi board so you only have to plug in one power cable for the both
but the problem with this is you cant get at the 50pin scsi connector because the slim floppy pcb is in the way which means when building the drive the scsi cable has to be fitted first then the power cable the the slim floppy adapter then the slim floppy drive
this means i have to make custom size cables for different machine fit them and then test them so its just plug and play
but it does work
