pitchbend monomachine

i wasn't able to record "pitch bend" from ext controller-keyboard
while in live-recording mode in tabletop monomachine. is it even
possible? how does it work with the joystick on sfx-6?

nope.

it doesn't. there's been a bit of discussion on this in the past.
if I remember correctly, the pitch bend value range is too large to
be recorded.

however, you should be able to create a similar effect from the
onboard MnM sounds by using the tune/pitch parameters (where
applicable).

i don't have my Mono yet but i've been thinking about this topic. perhaps i=
t is possible
to create a pitchbend with the parameter locks by engaging portamento and t=
uning
across two points. i don't know if it even has porto but i would imagine th=
at would
work if it did.

still can't get my head around why it can't record stick movements. seems l=
ike such a
basic task.

yeah.. there's actually quite many things on mono, that you can
usually do very easily with most synthesizers on the market, you need
to use LFOs or parameter locks.. and you end up with tons of
parameters you automated...

like the machine is NOT velocity sensitive, not even played from an
external controller... to name one thing.

Yes, you can play it from an external controller.

Oops, you meant that it's not even velocity controlled from an external
controller - misread it. Sorry.

a lot of old mono synths didn't have velocity control. Maybe they were going for that? I dunno. Does the keyboard transmit velocity data?

The keyboard transmits velocity, of course. The Mono also responds to
velocity. You assign key velocity to add to any parameter, on a
per-machine basis. By default it is not assigned to anything.
