Has anyone ever coorelated the Echo Delay time numers to real world
note values?  IE, number 32 equals 1/4note, etc...

Page 25 of the user manual :

The "Time" parameter controls the actual delay time.  It is relative to 
the current tempo, and it is measured in 128th notes.  For Instance, 
for a two beat delay (8 16th notes) "Time" should be set to 64

Right, I was just wondering if anyone had actually typed it out value for
value yet.  I hate resorting to math when writing :)

i'm sure that is in the manual somewhere.. cant recall it now but the  
2 4 8 16 32 64 128 relates to the notes and the 3 6 12 24 48 96  
relating to the dotted notes...

Delay time values

1   = 1/128		3   = dotted 1/64
2   = 1/64		6   = dotted 1/32
4   = 1/32		12  = dotted 1/16
8   = 1/16		24  = dotted 1/8
16  = 1/8		48  = dotted 1/4
32  = 1/4		96  = dotted 1/2
64  = 1/2		
127 = 1 approx


Don't ask me to do triplets  :)

Having to divide 128 by even intervals to calculate delay times (in your
head no less) is a technical detail.

I'm with you, make it more musical, give us real world values for all
controls :)  Number #1 on my wishlist.  :)

Yeah, getting freq values (even stepwise as they would be) would be  
pretty nice.  would have made the MnM a little more instrumental.  I  
kind of miss the thing, but honestly I'm not even using my upgraded  
MD/UW.  Had it on maybe 5 hours total since getting it upped.. maybe  
I should just sell it. :/

Holding down the knob while turnign should increase or decrease the value by
semitone amounts, 4 not 7  :)
