Monomachine decay automation

Monomachine decay automation

2005-08-07 by brsiu2000

I have kind of a silly question. Anyone know how to automate decay on
the monomachine? I'm trying to send a control change from Cubase.
Instead of messages 1-127, the monomachine's implimentation chart
lists 3a, 3b, and 3c for decay, release and volume respectively.
Control message 3 is mute on/ off. Not sure what this means. Any
help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Brian

Hey Brian, "3a, 3b, and 3c" are the message numbers, but using the
hexadecimal numbering system. If you're not familiar with it, these
would be the controller numbers in the 1-127 decimal system:
56=56 AMP-Attack
57=57 AMP-Hold
58=58 AMP-Decay
59=59 AMP-Release
60=60 AMP-Dist
61=61 AMP-Vol
62=62 AMP-Pan (see also 10)
63=63 AMP-Port

I made a monomachine definition file (for cakewalk/sonar) which lists
all the controller numbers, but I guess I never posted it. Well if you
need additional info I'll just post that thing for future reference.

Still loopy from the anaesthesia,

My man. You are the man. I'm actually pretyty unfamiliar with hexidecimal numbering; I should probably read up on it today. Anyway, your advice fixed the problem so thanks a million.
