My man.  You are the man.  I'm actually pretyty unfamiliar with hexidecimal numbering; I should probably read up on it today.  Anyway, your advice fixed the problem so thanks a million.

I made a monomachine definition file (for cakewalk/sonar) which lists 
all the controller numbers, but I guess I never posted it. Well if you 
need additional info I'll just post that thing for future reference.
