Elektron Musical Instruments

Hi,

Anybody out there use a Yamaha RS7000 and an Elektron MachineDrum
together?

I want to use the RS7000 as the master and the MachineDrum as the slave.

I need some help on some questions...

1) How exactly does "Song Position" mode work?

2) How can I go about sending SysEx commands to mute individual tracks?

3) Is there anyway to be able to change from the default midi channels
of 1-4 ? (& not to 2-5, 3-6 etc)

So that I could control all the levels from one midi channel. 

The RS7000 is only 16 channels and I need to use 9 channels for
internal sounds / samples, 6 for an Access Virus, leaving 1 for the
MachineDrum.... 

I don't really need / can afford to have 4 out of 16 midi channels for
the MachineDrum.... or maybe I can....

I hope that makes sense.

If anyone else uses a RS7000 and MachineDrum together I would like to
hear your opinons / views.
