The point is that I don't want to archive stuff myself. I think anyone who's used to communicating through forums agree that it's much handier than an mailing list. By the way, I never said I wanted to cancel the list hé. Prefer that? Then keep using it. But it's true that the community then gets split in 2 groups. And is it true that there have been attempts to create Elektron forums? What happened to 'm? Any words from the owners? There has been mentioned the argument that a forum should be Elektron official. Why couldn't it just be an initiative of the community? I think Elektron would like there to be a forum that they don't have to monitor themselves. This list isn't either. I and for sure others here would be very willing to moderate a forum and keep it going in the right direction. I'm sure Jeffry from synthforum could help with advice for that. (btw, respect jeffry!) Let's keep this discussion going in a positive way so we can figure out what the point of view of the community really is (and Elektron's too). dtr
