wow that looks cool, I'm sure many of us have started saving up already (I have!) lets think. more DSP than a VIRUS!!!! holy shit.. if anyone doesn't know, a Virus is a very powerful machine. Makes our SidStations look like a VW bug compared to a Lexus .. So with that much Digital Signal Processing going on just think of the possibilities!! I love analog, but it's great to see digital finally used in a forward manner, not just for analog simulation! Big display plus Dan's saying that the best features have been kept from older drummachines leads me to believe that it will use the xox grid style programming... with hopefully every parameter of each drum's sound variable per step.. fx levels and settings variable per step... perhaps a few tracks dedicated just to changing the drum voices ala the Quasimidi Polymorph's style sequencer... which means multiple tracks at once... so you'd surely be able to have different track lengths.. which would mean ever changing sounds, but measure length and rhythms would stay solid.. hopefully all of this would be under MIDI control... with CV/gate interface somewhere, perhaps a clock pulse out for driving our analog sequencers/synths (I hope) wow, dreaming is great. anyone else have any cool ideas??? effects send/recieve loops? PERHAPS the ability to do lo-fi sampling for one or two sounds ala Casio RZ-1??? Two inputs remember!?!? ~Steve M
