I think I'll save up for a Pelican case. They are pricey at around $200, but they are advertised as indestructible and airtight, and I figure that it is worth protecting an instrument like this completely. Their model 1500 is a good size comes in silver plastic that would look nice with the MD, and it uses that "pick and pluck" foam so that you can get the perfect fit. Camera shops carry these, and www.pelican.com has dimensions and photos. I have also been considering racking the MD into one of the those specialized mixer cases: the case sits flat on a tabletop, and the rack is lockable at an incline, making a good work surface. The Pelican case couldn't really be used as a work surface in this way. cheers, JVS
