DKC-850 controller unit Yamaha Warranties

Anyone have experience of buying this unit in the USA, and having trouble getting it fixed in Europe if its broken? I´m note sure if Yamaha/Europe has an international warranty policy, can´t find that on the site...

Hi, I bought one from Japan 2 years ago and at that time the warranty was valid only in Japan. For uk or france its considered "grey market"... I took the risk considering the pros and cons. But if it would need servicing I think (i hope) I could get that done in europe at my own costs, otherwise I would have to ship it over there. Maybe some of the forums members closely linked with yamaha can give more precise answers...

Yamaha products are warranted only in the country they are sold in.

Thank you for replies. 
Being out of a correct warranty and taking repairs on your on account is one thing. Having trouble with local service centers to touch it because  it´s bought in the wrong country would be worse. Any good or bad experience here?

I live in France; until now I didn't need servicing for the unit but I asked yamaha france to connect me with a competent technician for disklaviers in my area (or any area ) and they couldn't do that...! they told me to contact a dealer (any) and proceed from there... This advice was a disappointment for me since I find myself at the mercy of a dealer which are all too quick to point out that i didn't buy py piano from them so... Since I have not succeeded in finding a specialized person (just to overcheck my whole system, nothing being basically broken). Im contemplating asking a uk person... So this behavior in France is not very surprising they are not good here with the notion of after sale service (I found the same with Apple france for exemple compared with apple uk or canada or even italy).

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
