Focus your attention on the pedal drive unit and its cable going to the piano. I believe you will find the problem there. It sounds like you have removed the key drive unit cover at the treble end of he piano. If so, the board is the PK CTRL board. I am not sure if any of the LEDs on the board would be on when the piano is on. Email me a close picture of the board and I can check to see what status the LEDs should be when the piano is on. I’ll give your recommendations a try this weekend when I have some time and let you know if I am successful. I have already removed the cover from the solenoid control box and I noticed that there are two LEDs on a circuit board. Neither one blinked or turned on after power up so I’m thinking that either the cable pins are not making a good connection in the socket as you have mentioned, or it is possibly a more severe power problem. In any event, I’ll report back with any progress. If the cable was not re-connected after the move, then you would get this thermostat message. You could also get this message if the cable or connector were damaged. Turn off the piano, then check the cable connection. If it is not connected, connect it. If it is connected, then disconnect it and look at the pins in the connector. If any are bent, straighten them out and reconnect the lyre cable to the piano. Bill Love God. Love People. Make a difference. On Sep 14, 2015, at 11:50 AM, 'Metro, Bill' bmetro@... The petal unit was disconnected by the movers and re-assembled, but now we are getting the "Piano Power Off" (THERMOSTAT) message at power up on the control unit. Prior to the move, the piano played perfectly. How can I clear this message or reinitialize the piano? I would like to attempt a few procedures or adjustments before I have to make arrangements for a service technician’s visit. Thanks in advance. Bill M.
