if it is a simple supply without complex regulation circuitry, you can often get them working by just replacing the electrolytic capacitors. these are usually the first parts to go especially in supplies that do run warm for many years.
I believe others here have been able to have their DKV power supply repaired by an electronics repair technician. While finding the right person may be a bit of a challenge, especially these days, it may be cost-effective option to explore. You may be able to pick up a good 'lead' from your local music store given that they often need to accommodate customer repairs for amplifiers and other electronic music gear.
