Strip Reader with Spyder 3 Print 4.1.1

Strip Reader with Spyder 3 Print 4.1.1

2009-12-19 by thusband2003

I'm using the spectro model 1005 and am interested in buying the strip reading equipment. Will my existing spectro work with it? Can you buy that equipment separately? Where can I purchase it? The Colorvision site seems to only have the complete package (case, Spyder and spectro) available for $600.

I thought I received an offer for just strip reading equipment a while ago but can't find it now.

Thanks

Hi Tom:

First of all: you can download and use the latest
Spyder3Print SR 4.1 (OSX) or 4.1.1 (Win) software
with your existing DC1005. The only thing you won't
be able to do is strip-read, but all of the other
new features and changes are available to you.
(Download the Update Notes file to see everything
that's been changed and improved since the 3.5
version from summer '08)

If you want the strip reading SR spectro, you can
buy it as a standalone product, without buying
the full Studio SR, as Spyder3Print SR:

(That would have been the offer you're thinking of
that's the strip-reading hardware only)(
