That's so much for you input. I found some online reviews that confirmed what you say also. I have a 5 year old Mac Pro tower and am helping my daughter get a Mac that will perform well for her.

What I do hear, though, is that the new iMac is actually faster than the Mac Pro tower I own, and great for high bit file processing.
