Projector calibration/profiling problem

Using WinXP, Spyder2Pro hardware, Spyder 2.3.5 software and Dell 2300mp projector in a completely dark room.
Per Spyder instruction the projector was reset to factory defaults.
Followed carefully ALL instructions displayed by the Spyder software.
Made sure that the projector profile is the default.
Now ALL images/photos displayed on the screen appear extremely bright as if the photos were overexposed by one or two stops.
So what do I do now to get it right?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
