First off, your DataColor products will work with the same serial number on Mac and PC; most aspects of them should function under a good emulator. Next; once you move to Mac Photoshop ( and I bet Mac Lightroom in the long run) you will want to look for Mac printing solutions. It just makes sense to be doing of it the same platform. Crossplatform is possible; it's just not optimal. Finally: yes, it's possible to manage color under virtualization; but as you are finding, it's not trivial. For instance, the display profile apps use under Windows on a Mac will get applied correctly, but the LUTs that match them will not; so you have a hybrid of PC display profile and Mac LUTs; so you have to be careful that they work correctly together. For printing you may or may not be able to use PC built profiles under emulation. You might have to rebuild them through the exact emulation workflow you are printing under. In the the longrun Lightroom may offer the printing tools you need, making printing under emulation unnecessary. C. D. Tobie WW Product Technology Mngr.
