I have been using a Spder2PRO sucessfully for several years first with
Dell Trinitron CRT monitors then with a Dell 21 inch widescreen LCD

display, and a Dell 2408WFP Ultrasharp 24 inch display. I am not
currently doing any printer profiling. What benefits would I see by
upgrading to a Spyder3Pro?

Lets see. Spyder3 hardware is faster, a bit more accurate, and better optimized for LCDs. The Spyder3 software is faster, and Elite offers features that Spyder2Pro does not have. The list, item by item, would be a bit too long to post here. Basically, if you are happy with what you've got, thats great; if you want increased speed, accuracy, and convenience, then look at S3Elite.
