Two different Macs, G4 PC and G5 Imac; both running 10.4.10 Tried all USB ports, my
Canon camera cable and still no dice. I quite the software, plugged in the device and
started it up, but still no lights or signs of any life. The device tree in "About this Mac"
under USB shows a "colormouse III" from Datacolor connected, but no response from the
device itself.
That covers most of it. Next, try using the enter key instead of the button to calibrate the device and take readings, to see if the device is truely uncommunicative, or just has a frozen button.
