I have been using the Spyder 2 suite product for the last 2-3 years. I have a Samsung 213T LCD monitor. I have always been a little concerned over the wide variation across the profiles created with the Spyder 2. I take all precautions with respect to ambient light falling on the monitor, etc and still often end up running the profiling software several times before I am happy with the result. Generally, I seem to end up with a red tinge to varying degrees. Not sure if this phenomenon is common? Now seeing the Elite 3 product, I am wondering if I upgrade if the variability in profiles will be reduced through better software and newer spectrometer. I want to be sure as to the level of performance improvement before I commit to another $230 or so. I hope that there are folks on this forum who now have experience of both products and can therefore provide constructive comment. Many thanks
