Finished Modules

2004-02-04 by Jeff Brown

Howdy All,

I finally got around to posting some photos of my CGS modules in the
Photos section. All my stuff is Moog/dotcom form factor. I also
updated my website with info on how I've been silkscreening my
panels:

I'd have to say that the Wave Multiplier module is may favorite so
far, but lately I've been having a lot of fun with the Sequential
Switch clocked at audio frequencies...

ASR use and useful clock range ?

2004-02-07 by Larry Hendry

I have a couple of ASR PCBs built. I am getting ready to repackage
then into a revised module format. One of the features I plan to add
is an internal clock. I'll still set it up so an external clock can
be jacked in or so that the internal clock can be used externally.

I do not have any experience with using this module. I have played
around with it some, but I know there are many out there with who
have more time and experience with this one. So, I am seeking some
advice and feedback.

1. What are different ways that people are using this module.

2. What is the effective range of frequency for the clock. I ask
this last one, because when I add my internal clocks (will be using a
dual timer 556 chip), I plan to size up the supporting components for
a control range on the panel pot that represents only the useable
range of the ASR instead of making the useful part of the control
range only a fraction of the control rotation.

Thanks
Larry Hendry
