CGS 29 Wave multiplier Ver 2.2 Self oscillating

CGS 29 Wave multiplier Ver 2.2 Self oscillating

2013-06-25 by adematteo

Hi guys,
I just switched my power supply for a new case i made and now my wave multiplier is oscillating and i can hear it from the power supply ?

The power supply i'm using is the same model as the previous one i was using and all the wiring is the same exact wiring i was using in the other case.

Not sure were to begin on this one so as always any ideas are greatly appreciated !

Thanks, Tony

Sounds like the PSU may be overloaded and/or faulty.

Thanks Ken, luckily i have a few more i can swap out.
I am getting correct voltages and the wave mult is doing it even when it's the only thing plugged in.When i plug in the rest of the bog panel everything works as it should.

Well changing out the power supply seemed to do it.

Do you have any ideas as to what would have gone bad on the other supply ?

Thanks again for coming to the rescue !
