Troubleshooting CGS114 (Euroversion for WCMS)

Troubleshooting CGS114 (Euroversion for WCMS)

2013-05-12 by Jan Czmok

Hi,

After finishing the CGS64's i am now working on the CGS114 and got one of two "partially" working, and i'm wondering if somebody has an idea.

- fed into voltage: 12V
- Wiring according http://cgs.synth.net/modules/cgs114_dusg.html and http://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=41432
- I haven't reworked the RED parts yet, so still original values.
- All Transistors are 2N3904 and 2N3906 and put in according diagram on PCB (same pinout as original ones)

The issues:

- OUT LED is always lit on both units, this is LA/LK on the main drawing.
- If Trig Out (Pad M) is patches to Trig In (A) nothing is happening (no cycling)
- i need to put it into IN (PAd C); this is consistent on both units.

If parameters are set equal on both units, i see on the scope:

Yellow is CH1/Unit 1, Red is CH2/Unit 2

Thanks for any hints.

If my memory is correct, the transistors will need to be reversed.
