The "I misplaced the code ages ago" line below should make it clear why I am
not posting the code here. Nothing to stop you doing so if you rip it from
the ROMs though.
They were generated via several means. I had some other synth tables that I
processes down, there were some that were generated with custom programs,
and some were done with a tool designed to make wavetables. The sampling
down was done with software I wrote. Nothing complex - just pic every 4th
byte, if I recall.

now, basically based on the CGS and Digisound. For VCO I have an SSM2030
which might work, but I will most likely see if I can make something with
