Do you have an extra 4006 by any chance, I was thinking of implementing this modification as well as the other one you've posted on the yahoo group to my Digital Noise, and than thought if it's possible maybe I'd just build a second to do this with.

I added the random gate generator from Ray Wilson's Noise Cornucopia
to my Digital Noise module. It's a simple circuit - one TL071
comparator followed by a 4024 serial counter. Check out the bottom
part of the schematic at

The low pass filter (the 20K resistor and 4N7 cap) at the input to the
TL071 connects to the digital noise circuit at the 33K/10K voltage
divider at the output of the random number generator. I used two
outputs from the 4024, Q4 and Q7. You can use whichever outputs you
like or switch between several. Use the gates to modulate a VCO or
VCF or trigger an EG.
Digital Noise is fun. Digital Noise with random gate outputs is
funner! Also, I've got seven 4006 ICs left in my stash. Need one?
I'll ship it free. Trust me, you want a Digital Noise module!
