maybe you missed it but this prob was discussed here a few weeks ago,
there were a few suggestions for fixes.
for your poll -
I have two Synthacons, one had a brand new Res pot and was noisy from
day 1. The other got a used pot from a dead 80s Panasonic tape
recorder (ie - not good quality) and it is completely quiet!
