Hi Tom - good to hear from you. Yes I saw that site when I did a search before I bid on the FD1 - good info. Another site I read explained how to put the MIDI files onto the floppy disk (since the FD1 is only a playback unit, not a record unit) - you use DOS - looks like I'll have to drag out my old Win95 machine, heheh! I guess that makes sense, since DOS was the only thing around when this thing was made (1987-ish). I also have an alterior motive for buying this unit - as a backup floppy drive for my FZ-1.
