Casio Collectors

Is anyone out there with an SK60 who could help me out? The user manual says you can change the "original key" of a sample to be on another key (instead of A4 by default), before you sample a sound. It says on P25 to hold down the sample select button of choice, then press the keyboard key that you want the sample's original key to be on, then sample the sound. It seems to do absolutely nothing at all to change the key, or I am totally brain-dead at following the simplest of instructions.
