OK then, I've now got 2x Highly Liquid UMR2 MIDI boards up and running in my DM100! The fitout to the bottom keyboard presented some problems to the lower UMR2 MIDI module; it didn't like a particular key matrix line that was being supplied by the DM100 - it interfered in the MIDI note "learn" process of the module. I found a workaround though, and eventually got it mapped, and now it's responding to all MIDI input. I've informed John of the issue - it seems to be a UMR2 issue, as John actually fitted up the DM100 he uses in his fit-out guide with UMR1 boards a while back and had no issues. So anyone wanting to fit a bottom keyboard DM100 with MIDI, be aware there is an issue here - but not an insolvable one.

I had no problems fitting out the top keyboard and it went smoothly and works well, so I'm pretty happy!

I haven't tested either keyboards out for MIDI OUT function yet, I'll let you know soon.
