BCF2000 Sonar 6 fine / Sonar 7 "Connecting..."

Hi folks...

I've had my BFC2000 for over a year now, and have been pretty happy
with it. Until I updated to Sonar 7 that is.

In sonar 6.2.1 [and previous versions] it works just fine in Mackie
emulation mode [hold the 4th button when turning on the BCF]. I have
used it on dozens of projects with very little trouble.

I am also running Sonar v7.0.2.
I can open a project in v6 and all is well.
I open the same project file in Sonar 7 and the controller toolbar
item just reads 'Connecting...' and it never connects. I have tried
removing the MIDI ports from my list of MIDI devices and re-adding
them. Nothing. I am running the latest USB/MIDI driver [I'm the one
that posted it here in the files months ago...]

I run BCFView and in v6 it shows the tracks names that are 'attached'
to the BCF2000. In v7 it's just a blank blue bar.

This is probably better addresses in the Cakwalk forums, but the
signal to noise ratio there is unreal, and finding specific answers
like this takes hours of digging [it would help if their forum search
actually worked - it doesn't].

So has anyone out there has this problem and found a solution?
I can continue to move projects between the different versions, but it
IS a hassle, and one I should not really have to go through IMHO.

Thanks in advance for any assistance or advice.
