Directly to synth BCR2000

2013-02-27 by David

Hello,
I was wondering if anybody knew how to connect the BCR2000 directly to a synthesizer...What i mean is No computer interface. So the out goes from the BCR2000 to the IN on the synthesizer and the In goes from the BCR2000 to the synth.
Right now I am working on mapping some of the more "useful" parameters in the Korg Prophecy. I guess I am a little confused by the "so-called" "Manual".
Which "modes" should use for this, and is this the best way to utilize the "Learn" function?
Thanks in advance,
David

You need Stand alone mode. S-1 to S-4

Use S-1.

Unless the sysex only has one value eg turn something on (not on and then off), the Learn function won't do what you want.

Get Mark's editor and programming document from his web site (in the files area), get my SecretBC.pdf from the files area and you should be able to create the BC patch you want.

All the best
