How much do you know about Midi? http://www.borg.com/~jglatt/tech/midispec.htm
If the preset on Unit 1 has Fader 1 putting out values for (Continuous Controller) CC 10, for example, when unit 2 sees this Midi message, as it has its Fader 1 (your Fader 9) set to the same thing (CC10), it thinks the DAW has sent the Midi message and so it should adjust the position of the fader.
You will need to create a different preset for BCF 2 so the DAW can tell channel 1 from channel 9 as well as the BCF knowing it is different from the other unit.
I assume that Audition uses CC but I have a feeling that it might use Pitch Bend on different channels.
Check the Audition help files.
Grab an editor (Mark's or mine ) and load the preset you are using on Unit 1 and edit it.
Or from the front panel of Unit 2
Hold 'edit' and move a fader. You are now ready to edit the fader set for the preset in the edit buffer.
Encoder 1 controls the type of Midi message (CC or Pb in your case)
Encoder 2 Midi channel
Encoder 3 CC number - ignore this if you need Pb
Encoder 4 Min value (leave this for now)
Encoder 5 Max value (leave this for now)
Encoder 6 Mode of operation (leave this for now)
Encoder 7 Controller option (leave this for now)
Encoder 8 Display type (leave this for now)
Change the CC number on each fader (and encoder and button if that's what's needed)
Save it and send it to Unit 2
ie
Fader 1 = 10, 2 = 11, 3 =12 etc
Fader 9 = 20,10=21,11 = 22 etc
You might like to look at the Midi spec (see link above) so you don't choose controller that might clash
CC7 for example is Volume - don't use that.
If you are using CC, as an alternative to changing the CC number you might like to simply change the Midi channel number (Unit 1 on channel 1 and Unit 2 on Midi channel 2 for example)
You'll still need to do that on each control.
You will need to save the preset as you changes will be lost if you turn the unit off or change the preset.
'exit' to get out of edit mode.
'store' to go into store mode - flashing LED . Select the preset to save it to (or write over the current one)
'store' again to save it.
