I assume you want the 2 BCFs to work as a singe 16 channel DAW mixer?
All the pages of diagrams in the center of the manual refer to the
operational 'modes' of the BCF/BCR
There are 4 'modes for the USB connected to a PC/Mac and 4 modes for
MIDI or standalone (you have the latest manual from the Behringer
website don't you? )
To access the modes go to the global setting (hold down 'edit' press
'store' - the LEDs stay on) and turn the top left encoder.
In the display you will see your current mode. Turn the encoder and
you will change modes and see the U-1 to U-4 then S-1 to S-4 in the
display.
Select one and press exit.
BCF 1 should be in USB-4 mode to connect to your computer and
Standalone-3 for the other unit. The diagram of Unit 2 in mode S-3
(page 10) isn't the same as the diagram for S-3 on page 12, but all
they have done is left out the stuff for Midi port A which you are not
using anyway.
You will need to create a different preset for each BCF so the DAW can
tell channel 1 from channel 9 etc
Hope this helps
