One of the reasons I choose to do this is because the DX6k has packed data (2 or more parameters in the one data byte) and the BCR can't handle this kind of sysex.

The DW8k doesn't do this and has more parameters and the parameters are in a different order. So a port of the code is required.

I have had a couple of inquiries about a DW8K version. The only trouble is that I don't have a DW8k to test the code.

As you have both (and so, you can get it going with the DW6k first) I am tempted to port the code if you are willing to test it for me.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
