The sysex spec is on page 106 of the manual.

The trouble with Emu gear is that it uses 14 bit Midi numbers and has negative ranges.
eg -3 to 3

The BC can't be set with a negative numbers and setting the min to a bigger number that max just reverses the direction of the encoder/fader
Have a look at the spec and let me know if there is anything in particular you want to do.
