Re: BC Manager midi channel issue

2009-01-01 by k5kip_1999

Did you change the channel first before trying the preset?
I have found that if I send a preset, for the bcr to settle I have to
switch the preset to something else then come back.
If you are using the preset buttons you might have to cycle the power
on the bcr.
Try that, if you haven't already.
Maybe post your preset so we can look at what you are doing...

and encoders. In BC Manager, I have, for example, all of the cc's in
preset 3 set to send on channel 3. Then, I send the preset to the
BCR2000, and it receives the preset succuesfully. However, when I
check the channel for each button and encoder by accessing the
BCR2000 edit menu, channel 16 is assigned to each one. I have
verified this by monitoring the midi output with Bome's Midi
Translator...channel 16 for everything.
