Yes, I am referring to the individual channels assigned to buttons and encoders. In BC Manager, I have, for example, all of the cc's in preset 3 set to send on channel 3. Then, I send the preset to the BCR2000, and it receives the preset succuesfully. However, when I check the channel for each button and encoder by accessing the BCR2000 edit menu, channel 16 is assigned to each one. I have verified this by monitoring the midi output with Bome's Midi Translator...channel 16 for everything.

Strange.
Are you talking about the MIDI channels of individual button/encoder
definitions (as set on the "Standard output" tab, e.g. for CC messages)?
And what do you mean by "it always ends up being channel 16" (and how
have you tested that)?
