Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Hi 

Im new on using BCF , I bought a month ago . I trying to use Mackie 
Control and I have few issues , hope you BC Gurus could help ( I use 
Windows Vista ) !!  be patient my questions surely are pretty 
basic ....

1) using Mackie Control Emulation , I have problems because it takes 
lot of time to BCF to estabilize on the parameter that I just sent to 
SX3 . If I press and select TRACK 01 , and then TRACK 02 using the 
buttons on the top , it takes lots of time to led on the button to 
light up , despite SX3 has perfectly changed to the TRACK 02 
already . This is more annoying with the faders , if I change volume 
on subsequent tracks , again SX3 responds well to the command , but 
some moments after the fader comes back to previous position . Its 
kinda weird .  Is there a way to set it up to avoid this ... ? The 
funniest is SX3 receives all messages , but it seems BCF controls got 
stuck on time . Im using a vista laptop , coreduo 1.7 

2) I cannot select Insert or INstruments . Lets suppose I selected a 
track where I have 02 inserts ( delay , compressor ) . I konw how to 
go to the VIEW thats OK , I can see the panel with all the inserts 
and send  , but how can I open those effects to be edited  ? 

3) the same with Instruments , how can I open a Synth and how to edit 
it ?  in MCE manual it says that the "learn" button + "bottom left 
encoder group button" seems to be the combination , but I press it , 
after selected the track but nothing happens . Is there a way to make 
the instrument to open , and then use the 08 push encoders to tweek 
parameters ? 

Is there any manual to use MCE ? 

4) which working mode you BCF gurus think its best to use , MCE or 
presets always ? I downloaded a mixer preset for Cubase that works 
fine , so its better to work with this preset only for mixer , and 
then to change preset to control Synths and Effects ? 

5) the only problem I have is sometimes it freezes if coming back 
from one preset to another . Lets suppose Im editing a Synth on 
Preset 04 , then come back to Mixer preset 01 and then , zzzzzzz it 
is freezed . Is it normal to happen ?

only to ask for help
