Need Infos for two ICs

Need Infos for two ICs

2003-09-10 by Stoffel

Hi again,

I'm a little confused about two ICs, which I can't find anywhere, maybe
because I'm not so convenient with all those ICs.
On the Mainboard, there is one 4051B and on the POT boards there are four
4051. Is there any difference? These are multiplexers, right? At
www.reichelt.de I found a CD4051BE, and from the datasheet I think is the
same as the 4051. Order number is MOS 4051. But what is the 4051B? At
www.conrad.de I found a C-MOS IC 4051, and looking at the Datasheet, it
turned out to be a Motorola MC14051B. So all these ICs are Multiplexers,
but what is the B for?

I can't find the DS1210 anywhere, when I search for it, I just get no
results at reichelt or conrad, or kessler. So could someone please give me
more information about that part?

Thanx a lot,
Stoffel

they shoudl both work, one is made by motorola (MC) the other is made by
someone else, thats really the only difference.

use your company name (Stoffel-Electronik or something) and request a
sample ;-)

And while you're at it, you can get some other handy ICs too. They allow
up to 8 samples, and give you 2 of each IC. I snagged a couple DG444 and
DG445 while I was there... always useful to have around :)

hi,
you can find a lot of info on the IC's, including which you can use
as alternatives for the ones in the BoM at http://www.icmaster.com.
no ordering though; strictly info. can be quite handy..
