OK....any recommendations/ideas here? Should I do this on an XP PC instead? I tried the P3Tools version 1.x and it timed out after 14 tries....I see transmit and receive activity on my 1x1 USB MIDI interface....

It turns out I don't need to install MS .NET Framework on a Vista PC, the tools seem to work fine. I was able to capture the memory using the P2 Tools2 using that setup.

After selecting the OS file using the FW option of the Tools2, a few seconds later I get "Failed: Retransmissions Exceeded" I have the simple 1x1 MIDI interface on the P3 MIDI in and MIDI Out #1....is that right? Seems like the handshake loop is timing out.
