The current beta here (not uploaded yet) has remote CCs to set all the note,
velocity and aux D accumulators to a given value at any time.
Freeze and unfreeze would be trickier to implement though - that would need
extra state variables, and yet more CCs.
The 'set accumulator' CCs alone take up 24 of the available 120 controllers
on the remote control channel.
With a proposed set of 64 CCs to give remote control over edit knob values
and play mode knob values, there won't be many left.
