I haven't installed the beta yet (I'm sticking with non-beta releases for now), but I use sculpt and randomize all the time. That I can hear what I'm doing immediately is necessary. My other sequencer, the MC-909, has an x0x sequencing mode that is really annoying in that the changes you make don't appear until the pattern starts again.
