Hi Drew,

I've been a bit slow updating the web page about this - CCs have been
added after the prototype user's asked for it.
There are now 3 banks of patterns instead of the original 6 (each bank
is 128 patterns, 8 tracks x 16 patterns).
So instead of just 4 bytes per step (note, velocity, length, delay +
gate) another 4 bytes are used to hold 4 CC data values.
The 4 CC numbers are globally assigned - at the moment the same CCs
apply to all 8 tracks, but I'm going to change that so you can setup
different CC numbers per track.
I have to admit I should have added them a long time ago, but didn't
really have much use for them with my somewhat limited midi-cv
convertor. I bought a Jupiter 8 recently with a Groove midi interface
fitted, and it responds to CCs for every slider. The potential for fun
is very high :-)

Also not linked on the web page yet, but possibly of interest are a
couple of mp3 demos of the sequencer, both just under 3MB.
These were knocked up in about 5 minutes each during a visit a few weeks
ago to Paul Nagle's v. cool studio (see http://www.softroom.co.uk )
I was basically messing around with it, showing the assembled band of
fellow synth-nerds what it does.
Paul hit record while we were at it, and tinkled over the top a bit on
the second one.
IIRC both demos feature CC control of sounds as well as manual tweaking.
Some of the sounds are courtesy of Paul Maddox very funky Monowave PPG
clone (see http://www.wavesynth.com/ ). I can't remember exactly which
ones, as we were rather 'relaxed' at the time.
