Real time recording, CONGRADULATIONS Collin

2004-07-03 by Hans Greuber

Hi;

Afet having tried the real time recording mode, I have to say it is the best
seuqncer I have ever seen,I wanted to to this in cubase/ logic all my life
but never couldn´t. I don´t know why but even straight quantized,allways
sounded to " human" to me instead of pure robotic or technoid.

Now it bashes the MC-202 and the shitty MAQ-16-3 ,but for pure egoist
reasons(heeee) I won´t say about this machine to anybody(joke) .The way the
tie notes are entered ( just pressing the key the time you want to tie) is
THE BEST .

Now my wish list;

As I always sequence alone,before turning on any rhythm machine, here is my
problem, I would like to put the same START/STOP mode as the MAQ ;

1 mode as now, every time you stop the sequence it re-stars from step 1,
2 mode it should be ; if you stop the sequence and press start again it
should start from the last step played, Why I prefer this mode? because
sometimes I want to do counterpoints, or join the, let´s say the fifht step
with the 909 first step, I guess it´s my fault for sequencing without any
drums on the back... but anyway this mode is pretty nice for improving
rhythms or playing live.

Please think about this improvement / option

Last two;

Why any recorded live pattern can´t be Xposed? There is the FTS yes/no
option in the record mode but I tried both ways and dind´t work any

Why if you have an even note sequence and you skip one step (let´s say from
8 to 7 notes) the first step is played twice? Is it normal?

Regards from the White Coast to all of you, buddys!!;

Hans
