Powerhouse Sample CDs

2006-02-11 by greg2000

Has anyone used the sample collections found here:
http://www.midimark.com/cdrom.html ?

I have a s1100 on the way in the mail and I was looking for a way to
jumpstart a library of sounds. This seems like a quick way to do it.

If someone has any other ideas on how to get a library of samples
together at a low cost...I'm interested in that also.

We have a used S1000 SCSI for sale... Not sure how big the hard drive is but I am pretty sure there's one in there. $250, in CA (near SF), you pay shipping.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Dear Greg2000,

Have a look at one of the first messages in this listing - it
describes a sample library especially made for the S1000 / S1100. It
consists of something like 10 cds and costs about 100$.

Rgds,

Frank

To be honest I would save my cheddar. You shoud get Propellerhead's Recycle and a SCSI card for your PC or MAC then you can send wav files to your S1100 via SCSI.
