Sorry, - thats wrong.
Regular cards are 2MB or 8MB size for S1000/S1100.

So, - if his S1000 OS shows 16MB (8 megawords) of RAM installed, - there
could be 2x 8MB cards inside or 2x 2MB cards and 1x 8MB cards.
These are the only possible combinations of cards coming up w/ 16 MB (8
megawords).

If the OS shows 16 megawords, - then there are 32MB of RAM installed by 4x
8MB cards which would be the max already.

So, - its absolutely necessary not to mix up megabytes and megawords and
the possible combinations of installed cards inside a S1000/S1100.
Turn o the machine again and see what your display shows in MEGAWORDS, - is
it really 16 then ?

Right !

These are not 8MB boards, - its one 32 MB board which replaces 4 pieces of
8MB boards !!!

Yes, - but before looking for 4x 8MB cards,- hed better open his S1000HD to
look for whats really built in.
If theres one or two 8MB boards installed already, - modification of
digital board is obsolete cause its already done, - in addition, hed need
only 2 or 3 8MB boards then !
