I tried direct-disk recording with a Jazz Drive and still had no luck. I also tried the formatting technique mentioned at the end of this article thinking perhaps it wanted the partition size to be setup a certain way: http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/1997_articles/apr97/akais1100.html This article is the only info I've found for this feature. Anyone know of another source of information? BTW, I'm using OS v. 4.30.
